Conference on the implementation of Single European Sky in South East Europe, Budva, Montenegro

The conference of the Governing Body for the Implementation of Single European Sky (SES) in South East Europe – (ISIS) Programme will give an overview of activities to be conducted in the region with regards to the implementation of the SES as well as to ensuring the necessary political endorsement from the ISIS Agreement parties to the Programme. The event will be organized by the European Commission (DG Mobility and Transport) and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Secretariat. It will bring together representatives of national authorities responsible for air traffic, civil and military affairs in South East Europe.

Workshop on establishment and empowerment of airspace National Supervisory Authorities, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

This event will be co-organized by the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Secretariat, in cooperation with the European Commission and Implementation of Single European Sky in South East Europe (ISIS) Programme.

The aim of the workshop is to stress the importance of the National Supervisory Authority (NSA), its increasing role in the future regulatory system and improving safety levels with reference to the Single European Sky (SES) legislation. 

The second part of the workshop will be focused on the rules for joint designation in accordance with Functional Airspace Blocks (FABs) and importance of well-structured and well performed oversight. The event will bring together representatives of transport ministries and civil aviation authorities from South East Europe.

Common coordination conference of regional organizations and international partners in justice, home affairs and security cooperation, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

This two-day event represents continuation of the work on coordination of activities in the period 2011-2013 and finalization of the South East European (SEE) Regional Strategic Document and Action Plan in the area of justice and security cooperation.

It will also accommodate the second meeting of the Steering Group on South East Europe (SEE) multi-annual regional strategy on justice and home affairs. 

The meetings will gather representatives of national judicial, home affairs and security institutions from South East Europe, regional organizations, EU institutions and agencies, international organizations, national and international experts, non-governmental organizations and professional associations.
