RCC Secretary General meets Chair of BiH Council of Ministers over investment initiative
The RCC Secretary General, Hido Biscevic, met today the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikola Spiric, to discuss investment possibilities in South East Europe.
Chairman Spiric presented an initiative to establish the South East European Investment Bank, which would focus on increasing competitiveness in the region through financing specific regional projects in the area of infrastructure, energy and entrepreneurship.
The two officials agreed that, in view of the current economic crisis, such an initiative could provide a new channel of cooperation, enhancing regional development and contributing to an accelerated EU integration processes.
The RCC Secretary General agreed to bring the idea to the attention of RCC members and the European Commission.
