The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a one-day regional ministerial conference “Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in Strategic Infrastructure Networks: Developing the PPP Enabling Environment in Southeast Europe” in Sarajevo, on 25 September 2009. The conference brought together top level SEE policy makers, international experts, and private sector representatives in a one day discussion of the possibilities for generating PPPs in the region of South East Europe (SEE): the opportunities, the risks, the constraints, and the potential role of PPPs in the context of both national and regional development strategies.
