Joint RCC – ERI SEE Seminar on Recognition of Academic Qualifications
The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Education Reform Initiative of South East Europe (ERI SEE) are organizing Seminar on recognition of academic qualifications, focusing on the possible models and necessary conditions for automatic recognition of qualifications in the Western Balkans.
A comparative study, commissioned by the RCC, 'Mapping Recognition of Academic Qualifications Policies and Practice in South East Europe' on recognition of academic qualifications will also be presented at the seminar.
The Seminar is to be followed by the 1st formal meeting of the Joint ERI SEE – RCC Working Group on Recognition of Academic Qualifications (WGRAQ) on 15 December 2017.
Terms of Reference of the Working Group and the Action Plan on Recognition of Academic Qualifications will be discussed by the appointed representatives of the Ministries of Education of the Western Balkans Six economies at this meeting.
The Joint ERI SEE - RCC Working Group on Recognition of Academic Qualifications will be tasked to prepare, coordinate, monitor and report on the activities aimed at supporting and implementing the commitments outlined in the Multiannual Action Plan on the Regional Economic Area (MAP REA) on recognition of academic qualifications.
