Regional Conference on Cybersecurity: Cooperation and Information Exchange
The Conference, which is being organized by the National Centre for Computer Incident Response (CIRT), OSCE Mission to Skopje and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), will gather cybersecurity experts from South East Europe, some EU MS and other relevant institutions.
The topics to be elaborated and discussed include current cybersecurity situation, dealing with threats and incidents, CSIRTs operations and services, as well as regional cooperation and ways of improving information exchange between CSIRTs, companies and operators of critical infrastructure in the region.
The event includes also a closed Western Balkans meeting on implementation of the Multi-annual Action Plan for regional Economic Area (MAP REA) in the area of cybersecurity. The participants will hear about the current state of play and the key latest development in the area of cybersecurity; needs for regional cooperation and capacity building and ideas for improving of incident reporting capabilities.
The meeting is a part of the RCCs efforts in implementation of MAP REA for the Western Balkans.
