The meeting of the 2019 Western Balkans (WB) Digital Summit’ s Steering Committee officially marks the beginning of preparations for the second edition of the WB Digital Summit in 2019. The Steering Committee meeting, organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) is to be held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 29 October 2018 in Belgrade.

The objective of this meeting is to present the concept of 2019 Digital Summit, highlighting the key topical discussions proposed, exchanging views and opinions on the concept proposal and agree on key aspects thereof.

The first WB Digital Summit, as a part of the regional agreement on Digital Integration in the WB within the Multi-Annual Action Plan on Regional Economic Area (MAP REA) reached in Trieste, was held in Skopje in April 2018. Serbia is to host its 2019 edition.
