Regional Cooperation Council’s (RCC) Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) project is organising a regional peer review workshop on internship programmes in Skopje, on 26-27 November 2018.

The Western Balkan economies have agreed, under ESAP project, to implement peer reviews on selected priority employment policies or measures. Peer reviews aim to facilitate learning, discussion and capacity building on employment policy development and implementation. In this regard, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia will host a peer review workshop on internship programmes, during which the host Ministry of Labour and Public Employment Service will share their experience with the design, implementation and monitoring of internship programmes. ESAP team will also present the main findings of a regional analysis of internship programmes in the Western Balkans.

The workshop will gather officials of Ministries of Labour in charge of the development and monitoring of active labour market policies/internship programmes as well as representatives of Public Employment Services in charge of such programmes.
