Effectiveness of active labour market measures and self-employment in focus of the Conference of SEE PES Centre
Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the Regional Cooperation Council's (RCC) Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) project, is organising 'Conference of the Centre of Public Employment Services (PES) of Southeast European (SEE) Countries' that is to take place in Sarajevo between 22-24 October 2019.
The Conference will gather management and experts from PES of Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey and the host, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The discussion will focus on recent development in PES work; effectiveness of active labour market measures with a focus on self-employment. ESAP project will be presenting the benchlearning initiative conducted in the Western Balkans PES offices and its results, using this opportunity to generate further PES support for benchlearning implementation as well as to establish closer cooperation with EU PES offices.
