RACVIAC-Centre for Security Cooperation, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) jointly organise the ‘Workshop on Developing Strategies on Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Foreign Terrorist Fighters’. 

The workshop focuses on evaluating the existing policies, programs and actors as well as challenges in relation to the role of CSOs in the rehabilitation and reintegration of returning foreign terrorist fighters and members of their families who followed them to and from war zones. Considering the growing numbers of returning foreign terrorist fighters in the region, the need to support their rehabilitation and reintegration by carefully engaging civil society, community-level, media and all other actors that can play a role in different stages of such process, is of paramount importance to increase the awareness and minimise the risk of recidivism.
