Let’s Go Green - Western Balkan ministers to tackle burning issues of environment and climate in the region

4th Ministerial Meeting on Environment and Climate Action in the Western Balkans is to be held in Tirana on the 27th November 2019. Ministers in charge of environment and climate change from the region are to address regional environmental and climate challenges and the ways of coordinating Western Balkan’s regional activities in the future. They will also discuss national and regional priorities, policy responses to current and future challenges, importance of regional cooperation and the way forward in light of 2030 targets and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.

The meeting will also take stock of the implementation of Skopje Ministerial Declaration, endorsed at the third ministerial meeting held last year in Skopje. 

The meeting is being organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Albania and the Regional Cooperation Council as Co-Chairs of the Regional Working Group on Environment for 2019.
