Re-thinking Roma Resistance is a European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) project, developed to initiate change in the European historical and cultural narrative concerning Roma.
The Regional Cooperation Council Roma Integration joined this project by implementing the campaign "Stories of Roma resistance", where you can read individual stories of Roma heroism and bravery. The stories below are evidence of multiple ways in which Roma not only fought against oppression and injustice, but also the evidence of Roma's contribution to struggles for freedom, democracy, and justice in the region, but also across Europe.
