Description | Within the sub-project, the representative sample of municipalities and public utilities from four participating countries in SEE will be supported in applying the methods for collecting accurate and reliable solid waste data. In order to ensure their effective use, the capacities in selected municipalities and utilities will be strengthened. The sub-project will also enable that the best practices on solid waste baseline data collection are exchanged among municipalities and public utilities and their associations, expert organisations and state organisations and public authorities. This will be enabled throughout the exchange platform established within the existing structures of Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe (NALAS) and public utility associations. Advisory support will be provided to the national authorities for the application of data collection methods. |
