Description | The objective of the subproject is to improve regional exchange on gender sensitive enforcement of property rights in South East Europe. The expected results of the project are as follow: “Registration offices and notaries in the partner countries have improved their internal regulations for gender sensitive land tenure.” After the finalization of the Legal Assessment Tool (a FAO methodology), recommendation on concrete steps how to improve gender sensitive land tenure are identified. Based on the recommendations regional working groups are foreseen to contribute in developing a set of manuals and working documents for gender mainstreaming in the everyday work of the Notaries and registration officers. “Registration offices and notary chambers in the partner countries are familiar with internal gender sensitive regulations on land tenure”. Workshops and trainings are foreseen to be developed to make it possible for the staff of the implementing agencies to be familiar with the instruments developed during the project phase. “Regional exchange of involved institutions on land tenure is taking place.” Regional workshops and exchange platforms are foreseen to be established in order to make possible for institutions in the country and regionally to exchange information and establish cooperation among each other. “Chamber of notaries strengthens cooperation with UINL”. By developing common documents and by exchanging experiences and by participating in common event, the cooperation of the national chambers of notaries an UINL would improve. |
