Description | The main goal of the Sub-project within the Open Regional Fund for Foreign Trade Promotion was to strengthen capacities of CEFTA structures to maximaze the potential of diagonal cumulation. Within the Sub-project CEFTA Parties were assisted in conducting a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of diagonal cumulation in the CEFTA region by measuring the utilisation rate of diagonal cumulation in intra-regional trade and trade with countries’ bilateral trading partners. In addition, issues undermining the smooth application of those rules in CEFTA were detected. The CEFTA public and private sector were supported in implementation of capacity development measures aimed at increasing exploitation of diagonal cumulation opportunities and developing the regional action plan to widen the application of diagonal cumulation to the maximum extent. |
