| Description | The Action is to support the implementation of the 2015 Paris climate agreement in the Western Balkans and Turkey. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey have formally submitted their contributions to the new climate agreement as a first step towards a resource efficient, low emissions and climate-resilient economy. In this perspective, the Action will support efforts from IPA II beneficiaries through a project with a limited scope of activities designed to bridge the period between the current multi-annual Environment and Climate Regional Accession Network (ECRAN) and the next IPA II Multi-country Programme 2017. This technical assistance will be instrumental in keeping the momentum created by the ECRAN programme and supporting IPA II beneficiaries in their climate and energy policy reforms. |
