| Description | The main objectives of this Action are to strengthen the cross-sector cooperation between the Government and civil society and to develop the Civil Society Organisation’s (CSOs) capacities. Support will be provided to CSOs to take part to the policy dialogue and play their role of lobbying, advocacy and monitoring the implementation of reforms in sectors which are essential in the accession process, such as rule of law, fight to corruption, freedom of expression and social inclusion. This is expected to provide a more solid base for the proper implementation of the EU sector budget support. A second phase of a Technical Assistance project to the Albanian Government is also included to complete the improvement of the legal framework for CSOs work (fiscal regime, information data base, public funding, etc.). This is expected to secure a stronger base for the independence and future sustainability of the CSOs. |
