| Description | The underlying Action will help to improve the level of participation of civil society organisations in the policy-making processes in Montenegro. This will be supported through promoting an environment that is conducive to civil society activities and building their capacity to be effective and accountable independent actors. Another objective will be the improvement of the dialogue between civil society and the government, as well as more effective civic participation in public policy processes. Strengthened capacities of civil society for active participation in Montenegro’s EU accession process will benefit both the Montenegrin citizens as the final beneficiaries of this Action, as well as the European Commission, which has recognised civil society actors as important stakeholders and partners in the EU integration process of Montenegro. |
