| Description | The Action is to support the development of a regional energy market and the extension of the electricity and gas networks as well as of the Trans-European Transport Core Network (TEN-T core network) in the Western Balkans region. In this perspective, the Action will not only contribute to bringing high priority energy and transport infrastructure projects to maturity, but will also support the identification and enforcement of soft measures and technical standards. This technical assistance will be instrumental in improving connectivity between the Western Balkans and between them and the European Union, a key driver for economic growth and jobs as well as for attracting new investments in the region. |
