Description | The ECA Program, managed by the International Finance Corporation IFC, is providing infrastructure transaction advisory and capacity building services to the public sector authorities to promote PublicPrivate Partnerships in Southeastern Europe and Central Asia. Infrastructure investment requirements in developing and transition countries are enormous and cannot be met only through national budgets and contributions of international cooperation. The private sector, however, is in the position to cover the financial gap and can provide related knowhow through PublicPrivate Partnerships (PPPs). IFC, executing the ECA Program, has longstanding experience in PPP transaction consultancy and has developed a broad portfolio of advisory services covering the support for identification, preliminary assessment, preparation, tendering of potential PPP projects, including post transaction support. |
