Organised by the Regional Cooperation Council since 2020 Balkathon is a regional competition that invites interested young people, start-ups, entrepreneurs, students, digital innovation hubs, scientific parks, universities, SMEs, etc. from all Western Balkan economies to propose and develop innovative digital solutions as a response to the challenges of our day-to-day life. During its four editions Balkathon gathered hundreds of participants ready to bring their innovative ideas to life, hence so far we have 22 new made in western Balkans products.

Awards fund is 60.000 euro. Six best ideas from the Western Balkan economies will be awarded 10.000 euro each.

By participating in this competition you will get an opportunity to meet people from the business sector from the entire region, representatives of business organisations, and other young people eager to enter the world of entrepreneurship.
Professional Mentorship
The organiser provided highly professional mentors from different areas, such as innovation, ICT, and various types of development such as business development, business environment, entrepreneurship development, project development, project finance, and project implementation. They will be at your disposal for two days to help you develop your idea, and see your potential in the regional market.
