Following the Trieste Western Balkans (WB) summit and the endorsement of the RCC’s Multi Action Plan (MAP) for a Regional Economic Area (REA) in the WB6, the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Western Balkans Chamber Investment Forum (CIF) are organizing the First Meeting of the MAP coordinators, on 31 October in Brussels.

With the appointment process for the MAP coordinators completed in the majority of WB6 economies this meeting is to review the main developments of relevance to the MAP which took place after the Trieste Summit, discuss the key governance, monitoring and reporting aspects of the MAP and agree on the next steps that are to be taken in 2017 and onwards.

A follow-up business-to-government (B2G) meeting is also to take place aiming to maximize the MAP benefits through structured dialogue with private sector, bringing for the first time together the MAP coordinators and the WB6 CIF Managing Board.
