12 April 2019 Budva, Montenegro

Regional Workshop on Prevention of Online Radicalization, taking place in Budva on 12 April 2019, organised by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and Bureau for operational coordination of Security Services of Montenegro, is to gather experts from the South East Europe (SEE) and the European Union (EU) to discuss the main trends, challenges and best practices on the progress in tackling terrorist content/online radicalization at the EU level, as well as the current state of play in the Western Balkans, exploring the ways to address the most pressing issues related to online radicalization and the possibilities for enhanced cooperation with the EU member states, within the South East European Process (SEECP) region and beyond.

The responses to various aspects of online radicalization defined by the experts at the Workshop would be mirrored into recommendations for action of the relevant national authorities in the region.
