Third Western Balkans Digital Summit 2020 approaching

27 February 2020 Podgorica

After two successful editions of the Western Balkans’ Digital Summits in Skopje, 2018 and Belgrade 2019, preparations for the third one in a row to take place in Albania in early April are in full swing.

Representatives from the Western Balkans  will meet in Podgorica on 27 February to review the state of play in interoperability in Western Balkans and discuss the potential to have a  MoU/Protocol on Interoperability and/or Exchange of Secure Documents Platform, as one of the deliverables of the upcoming Western Balkans Digital Summit 2020 (WBDS2020). This Platform would provide a completely new range of possibilities by enabling information system in the region to communicate to each other, so the citizens would have a truly borderless experience with less bureaucracy, better access, more transparency, improved secure and reliability, and it would also increase flexibility and convenience of government services.
