A Sustainable Future: Cooperation, Communication, and Connectivity in the Western Balkans' Rural and Adventure Tourism

The conference "A Sustainable Future: Cooperation, Communication, and Connectivity in the Western Balkans' Rural and Adventure Tourism," organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit  (GIZ) on behalf of the German government, will take place on 24-25 October 2024 in Bar, Montenegro. 

The event aims to bring together key stakeholders from the tourism sector, including ministries, regional bodies, private companies, and international organizations, to address the growing potential of rural and adventure tourism in the region.

The goal is to foster collaboration, enhance communication, and develop strategies that position the Western Balkans as a sustainable, resilient destination for adventure tourism. The conference will focus on sustainability, workforce development, and the role of women in the industry, with the aim of unlocking the full potential of this rapidly growing sector.
