Belgrade - Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Majlinda Bregu met with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajić, and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Veroljub Arsić.

The new Regional Roaming Agreement (RRA2) for the Western Balkans, to be finalized within this year leading to zero roaming cost by 2021, and agreement on mutual recognition of professional qualifications in the region for Doctors of Medicine, Dentists, Architects and Civil Engineers were the focus of the meetings.

“Only joint work can lead to concrete, tangible results, recognised by our citizens and the European Union. The mutual interest of moving forward is the most effective approach to European integration. The RCC remains dedicated to carrying out projects leading to prosperity and progress on the European integration agenda of its participants”, said Secretary General Bregu.

While in Belgrade, Ms Bregu also met with the Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, MatejaNorčič Štamcar.

Secretary General Bregu’s visit to Belgrade was held within the tour of consultations through the South East Europe that commenced in Sarajevo, continued with Pristina, Skopje and Tirana. The tour will continue with meetings in Podgorica.
