The Green Agenda has been identified as a priority topic by young people across the Western Balkans, recognising its potential to drive meaningful change. In response, a dedicated Youth Policy Lab was launched to empower youth in shaping sustainable policies.

The three-day Kick-Off regional conference held on 20 June 2024 gathered together young people and policymakers to co-create actionable recommendations on key environmental topics: Green Agenda Advocacy, Preventing Plastic Pollution, and Circular Economy. These collaboratively developed recommendations serve as the foundation for the work ahead.

A Midterm Review Conference is scheduled for April, where all Working Groups will present their progress, showcasing the solutions they are developing to advance the Green Agenda in the region. This event will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, feedback, and further collaboration, ensuring the recommendations are effectively translated into impactful policies.
