Mapping Research Infrastructure in the Western Balkans

Workshop on Mapping Research Infrastructure in the Western Balkans, co-organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Ministry of Science of Montenegro will take place in Ulcinj on 8 April 2019.
The aims of the Workshop, stemming from the commitments of Multi-annual Action Plan for a Regional Economic Area (MAP REA) to map existing research infrastructure in the region in order to ensure transparent and available information to researchers interested to cooperate with and in the Western Balkans and to identify gaps, are: (1) to support the economies in the process of initiating and carrying out the process of mapping of existing research infrastructure by providing practical, on-hands training based on the experience of their peers, in particular Montenegro and Serbia and (2) to open the discussion on opening the existing research infrastructure in the region to ensure transparent and available information to researchers interested to cooperate with and in the Western Balkans and broader.
The event is taking place back-to-back with the Forum Science and Innovation 2030 Vision for the Western Balkans, which is to be held a day later.
