RCC to present findings of SecuriMeter 2024

16 December 2024 Tirana

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) will unveil the fourth edition of SecuriMeter, its annual Public Opinion Survey on security perceptions and key socioeconomic issues in the Western Balkans, on 16 December 2024, in Tirana. Since 2021, SecuriMeter has provided valuable insights into public attitudes and experiences concerning security, governance, and trust across the region, supporting policymakers in crafting evidence-based responses to emerging challenges.

This year’s presentation will feature a panel discussion on the topic: “From Perceptions to Policies: Addressing Security, Governance, and Trust in the Western Balkans”, alongside thematic panels exploring key findings of the survey, including: Perceptions of Security and Conflict, Emigration and Demographic Concerns and Public Trust in Institutions and Governance

RCC Secretary General Ms. Majlinda Bregu will open the event, presenting key highlights of the survey. The event will include audience interaction through a Q&A session with regional media, NGOs, and international representatives.

SecuriMeter survey is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.
