The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) is hosting a high-level Meeting of Governors of Central Banks in the Western Balkans, with participation from the European Commission, on 6 May 2025 in Sarajevo. The meeting will focus on advancing regional finance integration through the implementation of Consumer, Sustainable, and Digital Finance (CSDF) measures under the Common Regional Market 2.0 (CRM 2.0), endorsed by Western Balkan leaders at the 2024 Berlin Process Summit.

Key agenda items are to include discussions on institutionalising cooperation among central banks, exploring the Terms of Reference for a proposed Steering Group, and identifying financing instruments - particularly in relation to the regional payments agenda. The meeting aims to foster stronger regional collaboration, knowledge exchange, and coordinated solutions to enhance the region’s financial framework.
